Linden At Golant

Located in Golant, a popular village with locals and visitors on the picturesque upper reaches of the Fowey River. Once here immerse yourself in village life, vibrant at times although at an altogether slower pace. Enjoy stunning walks following the river as it meanders downstream. Visit the impressive Restormel Castle and the harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown. Just a stones’ throw away is Fowey, boasting some retaurants and individual boutiques. Slightly further afield is Charlestown featured in the Poldark series, a perfect place for lunch or relax on the quay. Attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock house.

Upon arrival at this reverse level property, granite steps lead you through the front door. Here you enter into the lounge/kitchen/dining area with TV. This light and airy space is full of character with exposed beams and reclaimed wooden floors. The kitchen area is perfect for the chefs amongst you to knock up that culinary delight from some of the local seafood on offer. Comprising of electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. From this central lounge/kitchen/dining area, stairs lead to the lower ground floor and the two bedrooms and the shower room. Bedroom one, the master suite, a double with en-suite shower room with WC. Bedroom two, a bunk room with handcrafted full-size L-shaped beds and TV/DVD. Lastly, located on this floor is the shower room with WC.

Heading outside, enjoy shared use the heated indoor endless pool and sauna, shared games room, or enjoy lazy evenings in the enclosed garden with chiminea and a charcoal BBQ and garden furniture. For the more sociable families there is a bar on-site cleverly created from an old Silo, with outdoor seating. Bar Silo is open every Friday March to October  for drinks and food with music. Occasional live entertainment to which guests will be welcomed with free entry. There is off-road parking for two cars.
