The interior is open-plan, with a lounge and kitchen-diner on the ground level. The lounge has a wood burner and TV; the kitchen runs to electric oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. The king-size bedroom sits a few steps below the lounge, and a bathroom with shower over bath is above. A shared laundry room on the estate provides washing machine, tumble dryer, and small freezer (small charge applies). Host Robert provides a dog welcome pack on arrival.

Crackington Haven is 7.1km - a dramatic cove backed by 100-metre cliffs, with the South West Coast Path running along the top. Millook Beach is the closest at 3.9km, a quieter gravel cove at low tide. Widemouth Bay at 4.8km is a broad sandy beach with surf hire and a seasonal cafe. Bude is 8 miles north, with more shops and surf schools. Footpaths from the estate fields connect directly to the coast path. On clear days, views from the higher ground extend to Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel.

Best for couples with dogs who want direct access to the North Cornwall coast and quieter rural surroundings. Less good for groups of three or more, or guests expecting town-centre convenience.
