Kingfisher Barn

Kingfisher Barn is a 3-bedroom converted barn near the village of East Taphouse, between Liskeard and Lostwithiel in central Cornwall. The property sleeps 7 across three bedrooms and suits families who want a countryside base within reach of both coasts.

The ground floor includes a king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower room, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. Upstairs, there is a second king-size double and a family room with 3 single beds. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over. The sitting room has a woodburner and dining area, while the kitchen has a separate dining space, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. WiFi and Smart TV with Sky via Amazon Fire Stick are included.

Outside, the barn has a private enclosed patio with furniture and off-road parking for 3 cars. Two dogs are welcome. The surrounding countryside is a mix of farmland and woodland typical of mid-Cornwall's rolling landscape. Lansallos Beach, a remote cove with clear water between Looe and Polperro, is 10.6km south, while Talland Bay - known for calm water and two beach cafes - is 11km away.

East Taphouse sits on the A390, placing Bodmin Moor about 10 minutes to the north and the south coast harbours of Looe, Polperro, and Fowey within a short drive. The A38 connects to Plymouth in one direction and Bodmin in the other.
