Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is a two-bedroom stone cottage in the hamlet of Trenale, roughly a mile east of Tintagel on Cornwall's north coast. The property welcomes one well-behaved dog and has a private garden with lawn, patio, and barbecue - a solid base for walking the dramatic coastal paths nearby.

The cottage has two double bedrooms, one with a zip-and-link bed that converts to twins on request. A single bathroom with bath and shower over serves both rooms. The sitting room centres on a multi-fuel stove with a starter pack of wood and coal provided. A separate kitchen-diner has an oven, hob, and fridge/freezer, plus a utility area with washing machine.

Outside, off-road parking fits two cars and the garden gives dogs a place to stretch out after clifftop walks. Electric storage heaters and underfloor heating in the kitchen and dining area keep things warm through cooler months.

Bossiney Cove Beach is 1.3km away - a secluded sandy cove accessible at low tide, known for its turquoise water and Elephant Rock. Tregardock Beach lies 4.8km south, a remote surf beach reached by a steep path. Tintagel Castle (English Heritage) and its 2019 footbridge spanning the 58-metre gorge are about a mile west, and St Nectan's Glen with its 60-foot waterfall is a short drive away.
