The coast path connects to Rocky Valley, Bossiney Haven, and Boscastle to the north-east. Trebarwith Strand, one of north Cornwall's broad sand beaches, is a 15-minute walk downhill from the village. The nearest pub is 1 mile away and a shop is 1.1 miles.
