Heatherdale

Heatherdale is an end-of-terrace cottage in Treknow, a quiet village in the civil parish of Tintagel on Cornwall's north coast. The cottage is spread across three floors and has an open fire in the sitting room - a solid draw for cooler months.

The first floor holds a king-size double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower over. The second floor has a room with three single beds, making the layout flexible for families or small groups. Downstairs, the kitchen has a dining area, and the sitting room centres on the wood-burning stove. A dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and fridge-freezer are all included.

An enclosed garden and off-road parking for two cars sit outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

Bossiney Cove, a secluded sandy beach with turquoise water and the distinctive Elephant Rock formation, lies 2.8km away. Tregardock Beach - remote, with powerful surf and dramatic rock formations - is 3km. Trebarwith Strand, one of North Cornwall's best low-tide beaches, is a 15-minute walk downhill from the village. Tintagel Castle, the Old Post Office, and the coast path connecting to Rocky Valley and Boscastle are all within easy reach.
