Grey Roofs

Grey Roofs is a three-bedroom cottage on Church Hill in Port Isaac, the north Cornwall fishing village known as the filming location for ITV's Doc Martin. The cottage sleeps five and accepts one small dog. Off-road parking sits at the top of Church Hill, about 100 metres from the property up a steep incline.

The sitting room has a wood-burning stove and a Smart TV, with additional TVs in the double and twin bedrooms. The kitchen-diner is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer-dryer, and a Nespresso machine. Three bedrooms - one double, one twin, and one single - share a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. The property has been featured in The Daily Mail and The Sunday Times.

A decked terrace with patio furniture overlooks the village. Port Gaverne Beach, a sheltered cove with calm water for swimming and kayaking, is 0.7 km away - roughly a 10-minute walk east. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy strand with rock formations, lies 5.6 km along the coast.

Port Isaac's harbour dates to the 14th century and remains an active fishing port. Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant is in the village, alongside several seafood spots serving crab sandwiches and fresh catch. The coast path leads west to Port Quin, about 3 km along the cliffs. Note that the front door is accessed via a narrow walkway with steps, and the property is not suitable for those with restricted mobility.
