Gare Barn

Gare Barn is a converted three-bedroom barn near Veryan on the Roseland peninsula in south Cornwall, sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The layout retains the volume of the original barn in its open-plan living and kitchen area, with separate bedroom accommodation worked into the conversion.

Inside, the open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining and seating space around a log fire. Wi-Fi, dishwasher and washing machine come as standard, and the barn welcomes dogs. Two bathrooms across six guests gives a practical balance for families or two couples sharing.

Outside, the barn has an enclosed garden with direct access through a door from the main living area. Private parking sits on site. The setting is rural rather than coastal, on farmland between Probus and Veryan, with good walking and cycling from the door.

The Roseland peninsula is one of the quieter parts of Cornwall's south coast, known for its sheltered coves and village churches. Portscatho, St Mawes and the beaches at Carne and Pendower all sit within a short drive. The area is also well placed for the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, both within a 20- to 30-minute drive, and Truro for shops, supermarkets and mainline trains within a similar range.
