EdyVean is a ground-floor one-bedroom apartment in Portmellon, a small cove village on the south Cornish coast, immediately adjacent to Mevagissey. The apartment sleeps two and has direct access to a private garden with off-street parking behind. The beach at Portmellon is about 300 metres on foot - a short walk down the lane.

Inside: one bedroom, one bathroom, washing machine, and wifi. No dishwasher; no hot tub. The layout is ground-floor throughout, which suits anyone wanting step-free access, though the cottage is not formally designated as accessible. The apartment is part of Portmellon Park - a residential area rather than a purpose-built holiday complex.

Chapel Point separates Portmellon from Mevagissey - the walk around takes around 10 minutes. Mevagissey has a working fishing harbour, a small aquarium, and rows of narrow streets with fish and chip shops. The South West Coast Path continues south from the village towards Gorran Haven at 2.5km and then Dodman Point, one of the most exposed headlands on the south coast.

Gorran Haven Beach is 2.5km south along the coast path - a sheltered south-facing beach in a small fishing village. Pentewan, with its long sandy beach and holiday park, is 2.9km north. Changeover is Saturday.

Best for a couple wanting a quiet base with immediate beach access and Mevagissey's harbour within walking distance. Less suited to anyone wanting hot tub facilities or a fully equipped kitchen.
