Mullion Cove Beach is just 300m away - a rocky cove with a National Trust harbour and regular seal sightings. Polurrian Beach, a surf-friendly golden sand beach with lifeguards in summer, is 700m.

The nearest pub is 100m from the door. Mullion village, with its shop and pubs, is about a mile inland. The coast path connects south to Kynance Cove and north to the Marconi Centre at Poldhu.
