Curlews Cottage is a three-storey townhouse on Middle Market Street in Looe, a working fishing town on Cornwall's south-east coast. The property stands 100 metres from East Looe Beach - close enough to hear the sea from the upper floors.

Spread across three floors, the cottage has a ground-floor open-plan living area with kitchen, dining space, and sitting area with a real flame-effect electric stove. The first floor holds a double bedroom and a family shower room with an additional WC. Two more bedrooms - a double and a twin - occupy the second floor. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Allocated parking for one vehicle is in the nearby seafront car park, a one-minute walk from the front door. The property has gas central heating throughout, and the kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. One well-behaved dog is welcome outside peak summer months.

East Looe Beach, a sheltered sandy stretch within the harbour walls, is a one-minute walk away. Hannafore Beach in West Looe - rated among Cornwall's best for rock pooling - is 900 metres along the coast. The harbour, pubs, and independent shops of Looe are on the doorstep, and the coast path west to Polperro starts at the edge of town. Note that the stairs are steep and turning, which may not suit those with mobility concerns.
