Crab Cottage

Crab Cottage is a three-bedroom property on Rockhead Street in Delabole, a village 3 miles west of Camelford in north Cornwall. The cottage sleeps 6 and sits on high ground about 3 miles from the coast, with Tintagel, Boscastle, and Port Isaac all within a 15-minute drive.

The ground floor has a twin bedroom, a kitchen-diner, a utility room, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Upstairs, two king-size bedrooms are accessed by separate staircases - one of which has a roll-top bath with hand-held shower and basin in the room. A separate shower room with walk-in shower serves the rest of the house. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and coffee maker. A Smart TV and a selection of board games and books are provided.

The enclosed rear garden has a patio with furniture, a fire pit, and a barbecue - reached via a few steps from the house. Roadside parking is available. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy beach with powerful surf reached by a steep 15-20 minute walk from the clifftop, is 3.4 km away. Bossiney Cove, a sandy cove accessible only at low tide with turquoise water and Elephant Rock, is 4.7 km distant.

Delabole is home to England's oldest working slate quarry, in operation since the 1300s and over 500 feet deep. The village has a shop and a pub within half a mile. The north coast path is accessible from several nearby points.
