Cogenhoe

Cogenhoe is a detached five-bedroom bungalow in Pityme, on the edge of Rock near the Camel Estuary. The property sleeps eight and accepts dogs, with local beaches and shops within a short walk.

The single-storey layout includes three king-size bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room), a twin, and a bunk room. The sitting room and conservatory are separate from the kitchen-diner, giving the layout space for a larger group. Three bathrooms - one en-suite, one main bathroom with shower over bath, and one separate shower room - keep mornings straightforward for eight guests.

The garden provides outdoor space for dogs and children. Night storage heating, a dishwasher, and WiFi are included. Daymer Bay Beach, a sheltered estuary beach with calm shallow water, is 2.4 km away. Greenaway Beach, a quieter sandy cove with rock pools, sits at 2.8 km.

Rock faces Padstow across the Camel Estuary, with the water taxi running every 20 minutes. Polzeath, one of Cornwall's reliable surf beaches, is 3.1 km to the north. The Camel Trail cycle path runs from Wadebridge (4 miles south) along the estuary. Sailing and watersport schools operate from Rock's waterfront throughout the season.
