9 Slipway Cottages is a four-bedroom property in Rock, Cornwall, spread over three floors and sleeping eight. The village sits on the Camel Estuary directly opposite Padstow, connected by a water taxi running every 20 minutes.

The ground floor has a king-size bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower and a separate double. Upstairs, a single room and a family room with bunk and single bed complete the sleeping arrangements. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over. The open-plan living area includes a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi and a TV are provided, along with a selection of books.

Outside, an enclosed front terrace has decking, and a balcony with furniture overlooks the surroundings. An outdoor shower is useful for post-beach rinses. Parking for two cars sits adjacent to the rear. The nearest pub is just 100m away.

Daymer Bay Beach - sheltered, sandy, and calm enough for young children - is 1.9km away. Greenaway Beach, a quieter cove with rock pools, is 2.6km. Polzeath, with its reliable surf break, is 3.5km north. The Camel Trail cycle path at Wadebridge is about 4 miles south, running along the estuary to Padstow.
