Less than 2 miles away, the pretty village of Lerryn has a village shop/cafe and a pub, as well as famous stepping stones which are an alternative to the river bridge when the tide is out. Just 5 miles away, the Cornish town of Lostwithiel is known for its antiques shops and range of independent boutiques, and has a number of cafes and restaurants. Also, within 10 miles, is the National Trust’s Lanhydrock, an impressive late-Victorian country house with extensive gardens and a wooded estate that includes cycle trails and a range of walks.
