Carn Base

Carn Base is a three-bedroom bungalow in Sennen Cove, sleeping six on a secluded hillside plot with sea views across Whitesand Bay. The village sits close to Land's End on the far west coast of Cornwall, with Sennen Cove beach just 300 metres from the property.

Inside, the lounge has a Smart TV, DVD player and glimpses of the sea, with a traditional dining area at one end looking out towards the bay. The kitchen has dual-aspect windows, an additional dining table and is fitted with a dishwasher and washing machine. Three bedrooms accommodate mixed parties - one king-size, one double and one twin - all with wardrobe space, sharing a family bathroom. Wifi is provided throughout.

Outside, the lawn and patio hold a pub-style bench and additional seating for alfresco meals, with sea air and bay views away from the beachfront itself. Parking is on site and one dog is welcome.

Sennen Cove is a working village with a small harbour, lifeboat station, galleries and shops, and the surf breaks on Whitesand Bay draw boarders year-round. Gwynver Beach is 1.6km along the coast and the more remote Nanjizal Beach 2.7km to the south. The South West Coast Path runs through the village. Penzance lies under 10 miles away on the south side of the peninsula, with St Ives another eight miles beyond.
