Carminow Barn

Carminow Barn is a one-bedroom barn conversion at Carminow House, near the village of Luxulyan, sleeping 2 with one bathroom. The barn sits within a small cluster of converted outbuildings and has a private garden with a BBQ. Dogs are welcome. WiFi and off-road parking are included.

The property is self-contained and compact - suited to a couple who wants a quiet rural base rather than a full cottage. No washing machine is in the barn itself; bring laundry provisions or plan accordingly.

The Luxulyan Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site corridor, is on the doorstep - granite mine workings, a 19th-century viaduct, and walking trails thread through the wooded valley floor. The Eden Project is roughly 4 miles south. Carlyon Bay beach, with its sand dunes and cafe, is 5.9km away. Charlestown harbour - a Georgian port still used by tall ships for filming - is 6.6km. The Saints' Way long-distance footpath, running 30 miles from Padstow to Fowey, passes through Luxulyan village.

Best for couples or walkers using the area as a base for Luxulyan Valley trails or the Eden Project. Less good for anyone needing more than two guests, or expecting full self-catering facilities including a washing machine.
