A mid-terrace, three-storey cottage on Church Street in Mevagissey, the working fishing village on Cornwall's south coast. Sleeps 6 across three double bedrooms with two bathrooms. The position is the headline: 150 metres from the village shop and pub, and a short walk to the double harbour where boats still land their catch daily.

Three doubles split across the upper floors - one on the first floor, two on the second. Ground-floor kitchen and living/dining room, with a bath-and-shower bathroom plus a separate walk-in shower room. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge included. The rear garden is enclosed with decking, lawn and seating; one dog is welcome. Parking is by permit in the local car park, with a metered loading bay 20 metres away - useful but worth knowing about before arrival.

The car-free inner lanes hold tea rooms, fish-and-chip shops and seafood restaurants - the Wheelhouse and Sharksfin both sit on the harbour. The Ship Inn and Crown Inn are traditional pubs with roots dating back centuries. A summer ferry crosses to Fowey. Pentewan Beach is 2.1km north and Gorran Haven 3.4km south. The Lost Gardens of Heligan sit 5 miles inland.

Best for families or two couples who want to walk straight from the front door into village life with a dog. Less good for guests who want their own driveway or step-free single-floor living.
