A three-bedroom cottage on the edge of Mevagissey, one of Cornwall's working fishing harbours and home to one of the largest active fleets on the south coast. Sleeps 6 across three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The standout feature is a dedicated games room - unusual in a Mevagissey cottage and a useful rainy-day hedge for families or two couples.

Bedrooms split across the upper floors: a king-size double with en-suite bath and shower, a second double, and a bunk room, with a separate shower room shared between them. The sitting room has a wood burner; the kitchen-diner is fitted with dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. WiFi throughout. Parking is roadside, and the patio garden has furniture for outdoor seating. One dog is welcome.

Pentewan Beach is 1.9km north - a wide sandy stretch with summer lifeguards, kayak and paddleboard hire. Gorran Haven, a sheltered family cove, is 3.6km south along the coast path. Mevagissey's car-free inner lanes, fish-and-chip shops and the Mevagissey Aquarium are 10 minutes' walk downhill. The Lost Gardens of Heligan sit 5 miles inland.

Best for families with older kids, two couples sharing, or a small group wanting a games room and a dog. Less good for guests who need an en-suite for every bedroom or step-free access from the lane.
