Off-road parking fits 2 cars. Outside, there is a fenced garden with seating, a children's play area, boules, barbecue, and fire pit. Table tennis and darts are available in an open-fronted barn. Crackington Haven Beach - a coarse sand cove enclosed by striped sandstone cliffs with reliable surf breaks - is 8.4km west. Millook Beach, known for its dramatically folded rock strata, is 9.7km away.

Warbstow Bury, an Iron Age hillfort with substantial earthwork ramparts, sits on high ground above the village with views extending to Lundy Island on clear days. Three well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of 20 pounds per pet per week. Check-in is at 4pm.
