Porthkidney Beach, a quieter strip of sand that feels less visited than Carbis Bay, is 1.5km along the coast.

Best for couples who want sea views and easy access to St Ives without paying St Ives prices. Less suitable for anyone with mobility issues (the walk to the beach involves a significant downhill) or guests wanting a garden or outdoor space.
