The ground floor is open-plan: kitchen, dining and sitting area in one space, with an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Upstairs, the master king has an en-suite walk-in shower; two further king rooms and a twin share a family bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Smart TVs and Wi-Fi run throughout. No wood burner or sea view, but the village location does most of the work.

The enclosed rear garden has a patio, lawn and outdoor furniture - a secure space for kids. Shops and pubs are inside 0.1 miles, including King Arthur's Arms Inn (family-run for over 80 years). The 14th-century Old Post Office, a National Trust manor house, sits a few doors along Fore Street.

Tintagel Castle and the 2019 footbridge over the 58-metre gorge are a 10-minute walk west. Bossiney Cove, a tidal sandy cove 1.3km north, is reached on foot via the coast path. Best for two families or a multi-generation group who want to walk to dinner. Less good for couples wanting a quiet bolthole or dog owners (no pets accepted).
