No dogs.

Treknow itself has the Port William inn at the cliff edge - a 5-minute walk down the lane, with one of the best clifftop pub gardens in Cornwall. Trebarwith Strand beach is 10 minutes on foot down the same path: sand at low tide, fully covered at high tide, the Strand cafe above. Walk the coast path 2 miles north to Tintagel Castle or 4 miles south to Port Isaac and Outlaw's New Road.

Best for: families of six who want to walk to the beach and pub. Less good for: dog owners, or anyone wanting a sea view from the cottage itself.
