Trebah Garden, a 26-acre ravine garden running down to the river, is about half a mile away, with the National Trust's Glendurgan Garden next door. A seasonal foot ferry crosses the river to Helford village, where the Shipwright's Arms serves food on the waterfront. Falmouth is roughly 15 minutes by car.
