Running since 1819, Fowey Royal Regatta is one of Cornwall’s oldest and most cherished community events. A week of yacht racing, pilot gig races, harbour swims, Red Arrows displays, carnival processions, live music, and a spectacular fireworks finale over the estuary.
Fowey’s narrow streets and steep harbour fill with visitors, but the atmosphere stays warm and welcoming. Watch the racing from the town quay, cheer on the gig rowers from the harbour wall, and join the carnival parade through the town.
