St Kew
Camel valley village with medieval stained glass
St Kew is a village in the Camel valley, about 4 miles north-east of Wadebridge. The 15th-century parish church contains some of the finest medieval stained glass in Cornwall. The St Kew Inn, in the village centre, is a well-regarded gastropub.
The village is set in a quiet, wooded valley typical of inland north Cornwall. Wadebridge, with its shops and access to the Camel Trail, is about 4 miles south-west. The surfing beaches at Polzeath and the fishing village of Port Isaac (known as the filming location for Doc Martin) are both about 6 miles to the north-west.
