It's also ideally situated to visit the cathedral city of Truro (15mls) and picturesque St Mawes (6mls), with its quirky shops and cafes and regular passenger ferry service to Falmouth. The Roseland has numerous sandy beaches including Carne (3mls), Pendower (1ml) and Porthcurnick (2mls), which boasts the Hidden Hut – great for lunchtime feasts. It also has miles of fabulous walking trails along the coastal path, through woodlands and down quiet country lanes.
