Titmouse Cottage

Titmouse Cottage is a one-bedroom self-catering cottage in the hamlet of Trenale, half a mile from Tintagel on the north Cornwall coast, sleeping two. The property welcomes dogs, is designed as accessible accommodation, and forms part of a group of cottages arranged around a shared courtyard. Parking is on-site.

Inside, the single bedroom is served by one bathroom. The living space and kitchen share an open-plan layout. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are provided.

Outside, the cottage has its own private garden, with access to a shared paddock used by guests for exercising dogs and sitting out over the countryside.

Tintagel village sits less than a five-minute drive away or a walk along the country lane, with shops, pubs, restaurants, Tintagel Castle, and Merlin's Cave beneath the cliff. The castle site and its medieval ruins are linked to the cliffs by a footbridge completed in 2019.

The north Cornwall coast lies about a mile from the cottage. Bossiney Cove, a sandy beach at low tide, is around 20 minutes on foot, and Trebarwith Strand, a popular surf beach, is a short drive south. Boscastle, a National Trust harbour, sits 2.5 miles north along the coast. Rocky Valley and the South West Coast Path are both easily reached for walking, and Camelford, Port Isaac, and Padstow make convenient days out along the coast.
