The Stables At The Old Vicarage

This imaginative restoration of an old granite building, thought to have been the stables for the former vicarage in Pendeen, offers a delightful holiday base for a family or friends sharing. A half-mile walk from the village brings you to atmospheric Geevor Tin Mine, set high on the clifftop. You can tour the workings both above and below ground in this last-surviving example of an intact, 20th-century Cornish tin mine. Head to picturesque St Ives (10 miles) to enjoy glorious golden beaches, craft shops, the Tate St Ives and other galleries, or visit Marazion (12.5 miles) to see the famous St Michael’s Mount.

At the end of each busy day away, retire to a choice of two sumptuous bedrooms – a master double with an en-suite shower room, and a further double that sits on a mezzanine level. Completing the interior is a well-equipped family bathroom featuring a jacuzzi-style bath for those indulgent, post-walk soaks.
