The South West Coast Path runs through the town, heading west towards Talland Bay and Polperro (around six miles) and east towards Plaidy and Rame Head. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within about 45 minutes by car, with Fowey, Plymouth, and the Rame Peninsula all accessible for day trips.
