Closer to home, the market town of Liskeard makes for a lovely place to explore for a day, plenty of coffee shops and places to stop for lunch. For an educational day out visit Emily Hobhouse's newly restored Victorian home, just 6.5 miles away. Or why not relax at home with an abundance of facilities on offer and take advantage of the beautiful setting you have on your doorstep.

Through the beautiful pink door lies an amazing luxurious retreat, perfect for a big birthday celebration with friends or family and pre wedding celebrations, from Miss to Mrs! The beautiful spacious dining room offers a wonderful place to entertain and leads you through to the large open plan kitchen, offering modern interiors and everything you would need to prepare a dinner party, cook up a hearty breakfast or simply sit and have a morning coffee up at the breakfast bar. Also on this floor, you will find the in-house sauna and downstairs cloakroom, games room complete with pool table, dart board, table tennis top (with bats and balls provided), air hockey and a 4 microphone karaoke machine, as well as seating. The movie room is a fabulous place to enjoy a film or two on a rainy day and has a large TV. The more sophisticated grown-up snug can also be found on this level with comfortable sofas and cosy wood-burner, ideal for relaxing after a long day out exploring the Cornish countryside. Meander up the stairs to the landing library where you can pick out a good book and take out some 'me time'. There are seven fabulous, lovingly styled bedrooms to choose from, six of which are en-suite with an additional separate family bathroom on offer. Each bedroom offers something different in terms of style but all are equally as impressive, offering luxurious linens, high end dreamy mattresses and beautiful views over the gardens, just perfect for a lazy lie in or breakfast in bed.

Outside, undulating gardens have secret nooks and arbor walkways to discover, with shaded areas that are ideal for catching up on a good book and sun-soaked ones being perfect for dozing off in. The patio boats seating for 16 on two dining tables and chairs, perfect for hosting a BBQ or pizza and wine evening using the pizza oven! There is also a large hot tub tucked away in a private corner where a decadent soak can be enjoyed day (or night), as well as a wonderful outside pool to enjoy. while the more energetic of guests can don their tennis whites and head down to the court for an informal match or two or a game of pickle ball. The 2km farm walk is accessed down the lane past the cottages and takes guests through woods where they can spot deer, buzzards and a range of other flora and fauna.
