The Byre

The Byre is a two-bedroom reverse-level cottage on the Hopsland Holidays site at Common Moor, near St Cleer on the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor. It sleeps four guests in a double and a twin room, each with en-suite bathrooms. The open-plan kitchen and living area on the upper floor has a wood-burning stove. A rear patio and garden includes BBQ space. Dogs are welcome and the site includes 2 acres of private field for off-lead walking.

The nearest beaches are on the south Cornwall coast. Plaidy Beach is 15.7km, East Looe Beach 16.4km, and Downderry Beach 17.2km - all around 20 to 25 minutes by car. Liskeard is around 5km for supermarkets and rail connections; the Looe Valley Line runs from Liskeard to Looe, useful if you want to park up and walk the beach without driving to the coast.

Bodmin Moor itself offers walking and cycling with Caradon Hill and The Cheesewring stone formation within a short drive. The property includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. 6 reviews from previous guests. Saturday changeover.
