Skylark is a three-bedroom property for six near Hayle in west Cornwall, sleeping six in a double and two twin bedrooms on a 100-acre working farm. One of three renovated cottages (alongside Cowslip and Meadowside) on the former Basset estate, it sits at the end of a long farm drive with views across St Ives Bay.

Inside, the layout covers three bedrooms and a kitchen and living space sized for a family or two couples. The renovation balances original farm character with modern finishes for a practical self-catering holiday. Dogs are welcome (one dog of any size) and private parking is included on site.

Outside, the gardens open to views over the Bay, and the old farmyard has undercover storage for bicycles and beach gear. Stabling and grazing for horses are available. Godrevy Beach is 2.6 km away, Gwithian Towans 3 km and Portreath Beach 5.5 km. The South West Coast Path passes Hells Mouth, half a mile away, and Godrevy Point at 2 miles, both popular viewpoints over the lighthouse on Godrevy Island.

Hayle town centre sits about 3 miles away with shops and a supermarket. Pubs serving food lie in Gwithian and Portreath, each about 2 miles distant. Tehidy Country Park is within easy reach for woodland walks, a surf school operates locally and St Ives is around a 20-minute drive for its harbour, cobbled streets and the Tate Gallery. Prices start from GBP 575 per week with Saturday changeovers.
