Silvershell

Silvershell is a detached two-bedroom bungalow at the top of Port Isaac, sleeping four in a king-size bed and a twin room. It has views down across the rooftops towards the harbour, off-road parking for two cars, and a large enclosed rear garden. Two small dogs or one medium-to-large dog are welcome.

Inside, the bungalow has WiFi, an open fire, a single bathroom, and a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The single-level layout is straightforward for guests who prefer no stairs. Changeover is on Saturdays, with prices from 747 GBP per week.

Outside, the enclosed garden works well for dogs, and the coast path starts at the top of the village. Port Isaac itself, with its harbour, restaurants and fishermen's catch, is a short walk downhill; Port Gaverne beach sits roughly 500 metres away around the headland. Polzeath is around 6.6 km by road, and Tregardock beach about 5.5 km.

Port Isaac is the former setting of the Doc Martin television series and home to Nathan Outlaw's restaurant. Wadebridge with its supermarkets and cinema is about 10 miles inland, and Tintagel and Boscastle are both less than half an hour's drive up the coast.
