Seahorses

Seahorses is a first-floor apartment with sea views, converted from a former detached house into four units. Set in an elevated position above the cove at Mawgan Porth, it sleeps four across two bedrooms with direct access onto the South West Coast Path.

Inside, the two-bedroom apartment has one bathroom, a dishwasher, washing machine and wifi throughout. The living area looks out to sea, and the accessible first-floor layout suits couples or small families. Dogs are welcome and there is a shared garden at the property.

Outside, private parking is provided. Mawgan Porth beach, family and dog-friendly, is a two-minute walk downhill. The village itself is a five-minute walk along the beach or half a mile by road, with a pub, newsagent and small store. The coast path climbs in both directions for cliff walks to Watergate Bay and Bedruthan Steps, and an inland route heads through the Vale of Lanherne to St Mawgan.

Mawgan Porth sits roughly midway between Padstow (8 miles) and Newquay (6 miles), with the wider selection of shops, restaurants and galleries of each within a short drive. The Scarlet Hotel, with its spa and restaurant open to non-residents by advance booking, sits along the road. Mawgan Porth golf club, with its 18-hole hilltop course and driving range, is a couple of minutes away by car.
