Rowan Retreat

Rowan Retreat is a one-bedroom semi-detached cottage in the village of Lanreath near Looe, sleeping two. The property is one of a pair of semi-detached cottages set within the grounds of the owners' home, with parking for one car. Dogs are welcome, and the cottage is designed as accessible accommodation.

Inside, the single bedroom has a king-size bed and is served by one shower room. The open-plan kitchen and living space sits alongside. Wi-Fi and a washing machine are provided.

Outside, the cottage has its own outdoor space with garden furniture and a shared garden within the owners' grounds. Rowan Retreat and its sister cottage, Rowan Cottage, share the same arrival day, which suits two couples travelling together while keeping their own space.

Lanreath is a small village with a community-run local store, the Tipsy Cow pub for quiz nights, and the recently refurbished Punchbowl Inn (originally established 1620) serving food and drink. The beaches at Lansallos, Talland Bay, and Lantic Bay are all less than six miles away, giving access to some of the quieter stretches of the south Cornwall coast.

Looe and Polperro, both working fishing harbours, are close by with sandy beaches, the South West Coast Path, and ferry services. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within a 45-minute drive, and Fowey sits a short distance west across the countryside.
