Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a semi-detached cottage at the head of the quiet Trebarwith Valley, just above the narrow lane that drops down to Trebarwith Strand beach. The master bedroom looks out across open countryside, and the property sleeps two. Private parking for one car is included, and the cottage accepts one large or two small dogs.

Inside, the layout retains original character features alongside practical modern fittings, giving a compact and well-insulated space that works year-round. This is a cottage sized for a couple rather than a family - the sleeping layout is specifically for two.

Outside, the sheltered valley position protects the cottage from the coast winds that hit the higher Tintagel headland. Trebarwith Strand is about a mile away by road or a 10-minute walk down the footpath, with the Port William Inn right on the beach and the 18th-century Mill House Inn a quarter-mile down a steep hill.

Tintagel itself lies a mile on, with the ruins of Tintagel Castle, Merlin's sea cave and the clifftop coast path heading toward Boscastle. The village has pubs, cafes, pasty shops, convenience stores and a pharmacy. Bossiney Cove is 2.8 km from the cottage, Tregardock 3.1 km, and Port Gaverne 8 km further south along the coast.
