Oakdene

Oakdene is a three-bedroom self-catering cottage in Marhamchurch, an inland village a short drive from Bude on Cornwall's north coast. It sleeps six across three bedrooms, with two bathrooms handling the facilities.

Inside, the cottage has a spacious sitting room that flows into a kitchen with breakfast bar, a separate dining room, and three bedrooms upstairs. The open-plan ground floor gives families room to move without being cramped, and the two bathrooms reduce morning bottlenecks. Wifi, dishwasher and washing machine are included.

Outside, an enclosed garden wraps the property, with private parking on site. Dogs are welcome and the accessible setup broadens the guest base further.

Bude's two main beaches - Summerleaze and Crooklets - are around 3 miles away, both good for swimming, rockpooling and surfing. The sea pool cut into the rocks at Summerleaze is a distinctive local feature. Widemouth Bay lies just south along the coast for bigger surf. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftops in both directions, and the A39 gives easy access to the rest of North Cornwall and over the border into Devon.
