Constantine village is about 2km north. It has a pub, a post office, and a village shop. The countryside between Constantine and the Helford is wooded valley farmland, popular with walkers and cyclists on quiet lanes.

Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, two National Trust subtropical gardens above the Helford, are around 5km east. Falmouth is about 15 minutes by car from Constantine.
