Margot At Rosehill Lodges

Margot is the two-bedroom lodge at Rosehill Lodges in Porthtowan, sleeping 4 across a super king and a twin that converts to a second super king. Two bathrooms serve the lodge. From £1,161/night it offers the same premium specification as its larger sister lodge at a lower entry price.

The lodge has a wood burner in the open living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sheltered private hot tub on the deck. EV charging is on site. Two dogs are welcome. The building is newly refurbished to a contemporary lodge standard, set in the wooded valley that runs from Porthtowan village down to the sea.

The Blue Flag beach is a 450-metre walk from the lodge. The Blue Bar, one of Cornwall's best-known beach bars, sits directly on the sand and serves food and drinks throughout the day. For coastal walking, the South West Coast Path heads south past the Unicorn pub to Chapel Porth (2 miles), or north to Portreath along the clifftops. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 5.1km east.

Best for couples or two pairs wanting surf-coast access with evening comfort. Less good for larger groups - three bedrooms sleeping 6 is available in Heron, the lodge next door.
