Lower Tamsquite is a three-bedroom cottage near St Tudy, a village on the western edge of Bodmin Moor about 5 miles northeast of Wadebridge. The property has an open fire in the sitting room and access to a private field for dog walking - one dog is welcome.

St Tudy has a community-owned pub, the St Tudy Inn, about 1.1 miles away, and a village shop at 1.2 miles. The Camel Trail cycle path is accessible from Wadebridge. Bodmin Moor lies directly to the east, with Rough Tor (1,313 feet) and Brown Willy (1,378 feet) reachable from nearby car parks.
