Longhouse

Longhouse is a detached cottage at Chywoone Farm in St Keverne, the main village on the eastern side of the Lizard. The property sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and has ground-floor access throughout, making it a practical choice for guests with limited mobility.

The double and twin bedrooms sit alongside a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. The fitted kitchen is separate from the dining room, and the sitting room has a woodburner-effect electric fire. A washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, TV with FreeSat, and WiFi are all provided. Oil central heating keeps the cottage warm outside summer.

A patio garden at the front leads to shared use of a 2-acre rear garden - generous space for the one well-behaved dog allowed. Off-road parking fits two cars. Coverack Beach, a sand-and-shingle shore in a fishing village with calm water and kayak hire, is 2.1km southeast. Porthoustock Beach - a shingle cove known for diving access to the Manacles reef - is 2.6km away.

St Keverne's village square has two pubs (the Three Tuns and the White Hart) and a village store, all about half a mile from the cottage. The coast path from Coverack south toward Kennack Sands passes through serpentine rock formations and isolated coves. Helston is 8 miles northwest, and Cadgwith - another fishing village with a thatched pub - is 4 miles south.
