Little Westwards

Little Westwards is a ground-floor 2-bedroom cottage near Goldsithney, on the Mount's Bay coast between Marazion and Praa Sands. It sleeps four and takes dogs.

Two bedrooms - a super-king with en-suite (bath, shower, basin and WC) and a king-size double, both convertible to twins - serve the ground floor. A separate shower room covers the second bedroom. The open-plan kitchen and living space has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a Lavazza coffee maker. Books, games and DVDs are on the shelves. An enclosed patio has outdoor furniture and a barbecue, with off-road parking for two cars.

Perranuthnoe is 1.8km south - a south-facing sandy beach with rock pools, a beach cafe and a seasonal surf school. Prussia Cove, the rocky cove once worked by the smuggler John Carter, is 2.5km along the coast. Marazion and St Michael's Mount are 1.5 miles east; the Mount is reachable on foot across the causeway at low tide. A shop and pub are within an 8-minute walk.

Best for: couples or dog-owning families wanting south Cornwall beaches, a good-spec kitchen and easy access to Penzance (4 miles west). Less good for: groups needing more than two bedrooms.
