Lilliput is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Mabe, a village outside Falmouth in south Cornwall. One of three converted cottages in the Trenoweth Vean row, it sits in an elevated rural position and earns a rating of 10 from 10 reviews.

Inside, sleeping is a king-size bed with the living, kitchen and bathroom laid out for couples rather than families. The conversion retains the character of the original farm buildings while adding double glazing for year-round use. Parking comes with the cottage, one space per property in the shared drive.

Outside, the cottage opens to a low-walled patio garden at the front, with a shared lawned garden and drying area at the rear. Mabe village is half a mile away, with a post office store and a pub serving food. The sandy beaches of Falmouth Bay sit about 5 miles distant: Swanpool at 5.4 km, Maenporth at 5.5 km and Gyllyngvase at 5.8 km.

Falmouth is a 10-minute drive for the National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and working harbour. Argal Reservoir and Stithians Lake both sit within a short drive for walks, sailing and kayaking. The gardens at Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Trebah on the Helford River are within 15 minutes. Prices start from GBP 423 per week with Saturday changeovers.
