Leghorn

Leghorn is a semi-detached barn conversion on a working farm at Trethurgy, near St Austell, sleeping four in two bedrooms. The property is dog-friendly and has a hot tub available from Saturday to Thursday.

The ground floor has a double bedroom with TV and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a twin bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. An open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space, and sitting area, with a wood-burning stove as the focal point. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. An iPod dock and TV are in the living area, and Wi-Fi is available.

Outside, off-road parking fits three cars. A sheltered deck patio has outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The hot tub sits in the garden area. Two dogs are welcome at a charge per week.

Carlyon Bay - a long, family-friendly sandy beach with a gently sloping seabed - is 2.9km away. Charlestown Beach, beside the Georgian harbour known for its tall ships and Poldark filming, is 3.4km. The Eden Project is roughly 4 miles north, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan about 5 miles south, making this a well-positioned base for mid-Cornwall's main attractions. A pub is a 10-minute walk from the farm.
