Lauras Cottage

Laura's Cottage sits on a working farm in the rural parish of Egloskerry, in the rolling countryside between the north Cornish coast and Bodmin Moor. The one-bedroom property sleeps two in a double room, with an open-plan living area, contemporary kitchen with washing machine, and skylights keeping the interior well lit. Outside, a patio with garden furniture, private hot tub and BBQ faces the surrounding farmland.

Two dogs are welcome and the farm itself provides direct walking access across fields and lanes. The nearest managed beach is Millook Beach at 14.5km, followed by Crackington Haven at 14.6km - both on the dramatic north Cornwall coast where the cliffs reach over 100 metres.

Port Isaac - the former fishing village made more widely known by the television series Doc Martin - is roughly 25 minutes' drive north. Tintagel Castle ruins and their clifftop setting are around 30 minutes away. The A39 Atlantic Highway and the A30 trunk road are both accessible within a few miles, making the cottage a practical touring base.

Wadebridge and Bodmin are the nearest market towns at around 20 minutes. The Camel Trail cycling and walking route runs through Wadebridge for 18 miles to Padstow in one direction and Bodmin Moor in the other.

Ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for a quiet countryside base to walk, explore the north coast, and return to a hot tub. Not great for guests prioritising beach proximity - the drive is 20-plus minutes each way.
