Kernyk

Kernyk is a two-bedroom stone cottage on the edge of Camelford, sleeping four across two double bedrooms with two bathrooms. The interior includes underfloor heating throughout, a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, and en-suite to the master. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and washing machine are included. There is parking for two cars and an enclosed garden to the rear.

The nearest beach is Tregardock Beach at 7.3km - a rugged cove below high cliffs that can only be reached on foot from the coastal path, and cuts off at high tide. Bossiney Cove is 7.4km and Port Gaverne Beach is 11.4km, offering calmer water in a sheltered inlet popular with kayakers. The North Cornwall coast path runs through this stretch of coast, with several miles of clifftop walking available directly from the car parks above each cove.

Camelford itself has a small high street with a post office, butchers, and independent shops. Tintagel is 9km north-west, Boscastle 12km, and Bodmin Moor is accessible from the town's southern edge.

Best for couples or small families who want a base with good road access to both North Cornwall beaches and Bodmin Moor. Less good for those who need coastal walking directly from the door - the beaches all require a short drive. No dogs permitted.
