Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle is a terraced cottage in Gorran Haven, a small fishing village on Cornwall's south coast, with two bedrooms sleeping four. The front door is a 2-minute walk from Gorran Haven Beach - a sheltered sandy cove with a harbour wall and rock pools at low tide.

Inside, a double bedroom and a twin share a bathroom with bath, shower over and basin. The open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining area and sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. A TV with Freeview, DVD player and WiFi are included, along with books and games. A highchair, travel cot and stair gate are available. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.

Off-road parking fits one car. A patio at the rear has outdoor furniture. Gorran Haven Beach is 0.1km - safe for swimming, with a seasonal cafe on the sand. Hemmick Beach, a secluded cove with clear water for snorkelling, is 2.1km south along the coast path.

The village shop is a 2-minute walk and a restaurant is 5 minutes on foot. The nearest pub is 1.2 miles. Gorran Haven has no chain shops or amusement arcades - it remains a quiet, uncommercialised village. The South West Coast Path leads south to Dodman Point, one of the largest headlands on the south coast, and north to Vault Beach. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 4 miles by road.
