Honey @ Stars & Embers Glamping

Honey is a safari tent at Stars and Embers Glamping, set on the outskirts of Grampound in central Cornwall. It sleeps five across two bedrooms and comes with a wood-fired hot tub and an open fire - a distinctive alternative to a conventional cottage.

The single-storey layout has an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove that also serves as the range cooker, providing both heating and cooking. The kitchen area has a fridge/freezer and kettle. Two bedrooms - one double and one twin - open off the main space, and there is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. The tent has a specially insulated base to retain warmth. Bed linen, robes, and towels are included.

Outside, a decked area has furniture and the wood-fired hot tub, with wood supplied. Parking is on site. Pentewan Beach - nearly a mile of golden sand on the south coast with lifeguards in summer - is 7.3 km away. Porthpean Beach, a sheltered family cove near St Austell with rock pools at low tide, is 7.9 km.

Grampound village is a short walk, with a community shop and pub. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are roughly 6 miles southeast. Truro is about 8 miles west, and Mevagissey's working harbour sits on the coast below. The A390 runs through Grampound, making both coasts accessible within a short drive.
