Higher Kernick Farm

Higher Kernick Farm is a four-bedroom cottage in the village of Egloskerry, near Launceston in east Cornwall. The split-level bungalow sleeps eight across staggered floors, with an open fire in the lounge-diner and enclosed gardens surrounding the property.

The bedroom layout includes a king-size double with en-suite shower, a super king-size (zip-link, convertible to twin), an upper-level master with king-size bed plus dressing area and balcony, and upper-level adult bunk beds. Two bathrooms - one with bath and separate shower, one with the en-suite - plus a Jack and Jill arrangement serve the bedrooms. The kitchen-diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher.

Enclosed gardens provide outdoor space on multiple sides, with off-road parking on site. The nearest coast is over 18km away - Millook Beach and Crackington Haven Beach are both roughly that distance to the north-west, making this a countryside rather than coastal base.

Launceston, Cornwall's historic county town, is a short drive south-east, with its Norman castle, carved granite church, and steam railway. Bodmin Moor lies to the south-west. The village pub is 2 miles away, and the nearest shop 4 miles. Two pets are welcome on the ground floor only.
